Totally rebuilt through Nashua during the 1990's from its 1950's original design, the road is as ultra-modern a freeway as you'll find in Northern New England. New exits have been added, old ones have been improved, and there is even a fly-over ramp at the Daniel Webster Highway interchange, one of two in the entire state. (The other flyover is on I-93 northbound at NH 101 in Manchester). From the Merrimack tolls to I-293 in Manchester, not much has changed as some of the original bridges still remain.
